Day 2 Workshop – How to nurture infant sleep.

Learn multiple approaches to nurture infant sleep so the whole family has the most settled and restful sleep possible. This includes approaches for babies as well as for parents. We will learn how to optimize infant sleep, set up optimal sleep environments, spot medical red flags that interfere with sleep, and seek the right professionals to help.

Nurtured sleep does not involve sleep training or leaving babies to cry alone for any duration of time, nor does it involve reducing your response to your baby's needs.

Throughout my neuroscience career at The University of Toronto and Columbia University, with training at NYU and Yale - I have studied how genetics and experience shape the brain, nervous system and body to influence lifelong mental and physical health. As a neuroscientist, doula, mother and educator, I am passionate about bringing this knowledge to families to create a nurtured future for our babies and the planet.
