I knew I wanted a career change after having my daughter. After learning so much about those first 3 years in terms of infant brain development, I knew I wanted something where I could be more flexible and perhaps work from home. I had always been searching for a career I felt truely passionate about. I kept soul searching, hoping I would have my light bulb moment...and then I see Greer and Rocio's announcement about The brand new practitioner certificate. I knew instantly that was it. For the first time in my life I really put my trust in the universe and manifested gaining a place on the course...and I made it! Greers book, The Nurture Revolution had such a profound impact on me and my parenting journey and I could not wait to join the program!! When I watched the first lecture replay, everything clicked into place for me right away. The energy alone from this group was electric, powerful and yet beautifully calm. And I felt this from watching just a replay! I understood very quickly how powerful this work was and how important it was to speak up about the science behind high nurture. The biggest transformation I experienced during my training was a split between immense inspiration from others already in this space, and building my own self confidence that I CAN do this work. It hasn't been easy building a business during contact naps and after bedtime, but when you feel this inspired and passionate, it can be done! One of my favourite examples of how I have applied what we have learned in real life is through practicing baby chats on my best friends newborn! She has been amazed watching this process and has called me the baby whisperer! I remember Greer sharing a similar term from her friend in lecture! To anyone thinking of joining the next cohort, I am genuinely so sad that mine has finished, can it carry on forever please!? It has enabled me to have a total change of career, receive 10/10 education from Greer and Rocio, be part of the most supportive network of practitioners possible, do lots and lots of inner child work and healing work, and feel immensely confident in my own parenting and my future teaching. I feel immense gratitude to Greer, Rocio and my peers. I feel the stars aligned with me on this one, and if this course is calling you, I say listen to it! ✨️✨️ Oh and being able to do absolutely every single element of this course in my own time has been immensely appreciated , and rare to find! I couldn't have done it without that crucial element while I still have a young daughter. Thank you!!

Certified Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner and Mum of 1

Joining the Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner Certification was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my professional journey. I was drawn to the program because I wanted to deepen my understanding of how early experiences shape babies' developing brains—and how parents can nurture those connections from the very beginning. Supporting parents through pregnancy, postpartum, and those precious early years has been my passion for years, and this certification felt like the perfect next step. One of the most eye-opening moments for me was learning not only about the changes mothers go through but also the profound transformations fathers experience. We live in a culture where the role of fathers in the early years is often misunderstood—or worse, overlooked. This gap in understanding lets fathers and families down, so learning about the neurological and emotional shifts both parents go through was astonishing. It reinforced the importance of helping BOTH parents slow down, tune in, fall in love, and truly connect with their little ones in everyday moments. One beautiful example that stands out was in a class I was teaching with a group of pregnant couples. When they learned about the importance of fathers' role in their baby’s development, I could see a huge shift happen. It was almost as if fathers had been given permission to fully step into their place in the family—with their whole hearts. Witnessing that deepening bond between partners was incredibly moving and reaffirmed why I do this work. The biggest transformation I experienced was in how I see parent-baby relationships. This training gave me practical tools backed up by science to support parents with compassion and without adding pressure. I now approach my work with an even greater sense of calm and confidence, knowing that simple, meaningful interactions can have a profound impact on brain development and lifelong connection. The program itself was both enriching and flexible. The supportive, deeply knowledgeable, and down-to-earth instructors truly care about the success of each student. The other participants were great, too! I looked forward to spending my Tuesday mornings with such an inspiring and intelligent group of people. My way of learning was to attend the live class, let the material simmer for a few days (or even a few weeks if life got in the way), then rewatch the recording and complete the homework. Even though I couldn’t attend every class live and am still catching up on some coursework, I never felt pressured or overwhelmed—just supported. If you’re considering joining the next cohort, I wholeheartedly encourage you to dive in. This certification isn’t just about neuroscience—it’s about nurturing the whole parent-baby relationship with love, empathy, and understanding. You’ll come away with valuable knowledge, practical tools, and a community that shares your passion for supporting families.

WOW! I feel truly blessed to have been apart of the first cohort of the Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner Certification. This in-depth, science (and heart) based learning experience was nothing short of transformative! It not only deepened my ability to support the parents and babies I work with but also gave me the tools, knowledge and confidence to start my own business - allowing me to help more people. Greer and Rocio have created something truly magical and their wisdom will continue to guide me both professionally and personally. If you're considering joining the next cohort - take the leap! I'm sure, like me, you will feel immense gratitude for the opportunity.

I have been deeply impacted by Dr Greer's book both professionally and personally. Reading it as a new mum I had so many moments of feeling incredibly validated in my experiences and found it so interesting and comforting to learn about the changes that were happening to my parent brain. Professionally, I felt incredibly inspired and The Nurture Revolution was a big reason I decided to move into private practice. When I saw that a professional certification was being offered I jumped at the chance! I am so glad I decided to invest in this certification. It was a big investment for me due to being located in Southern Africa and being in the very early stages of starting my business, but it has been so worth it. I feel so confident that the work I am doing is grounded in robust science and have loved the opportunity to connect and learn from Rocio and Greer and the other professionals in my cohort. It became such a safe and nurturing space to grow. I really loved how clearly all the information and the offerings we have been certified in have been laid out. I feel I have been given everything I need to start bringing this work to my community, including support with the business side of this work. I highly recommend this certification to anyone considering it! You will learn and grow so much as a professional AND there is also so much space for personal reflection. It has been such a gift.

I have worked as a Public Health Nurse in the Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Directorate for approximately 24 years in Ontario, Canada. My main focus was neuroscience and the development of babies and children. Over time I created a website called The Language of Parenting to support new parents-to-be through the process of birth and the challenges of parenting a newborn. I expected my website to reach more new moms and dads/partners. Quickly, through parent testimonials, I learned social media and medical websites were rife with misinformation, half-truths, and anecdotal parenting information that left new parents disappointed, confused, and unsupported. Having facilitated many face-to-face prenatal and preparing-for-parenthood programs, I planned to create a hybrid program to support new parents with up-to-date neuroscience and hands-on nurturing parenting approaches. I found many sources of information, but there wasn't a source that connected all the dots related to nurturing and parenting a newborn. While searching for specific empirical, neuroscience information on newborn babies, I accidentally discovered Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum's book The Nurture Revolution, and an invitation to join a new 12-week Nurture Neuroscience virtual Practicioner's Program that promised a step-by-step approach to brain development and the art of nurtured parenting. I was so excited, that I went to my local bookstore, purchased her book, and signed up for the course that day. The course with Greer and Rocio (both neuroscientists), has transformed my approach to facilitating prenatal programs. Previously, I centered on supporting families. now, it is all about developing nurturing family relationships, through respecting the interconnectedness and vulnerability of the child/parent union Due to the Nurture Neuroscience Program, I have refocused my work with fathers. New fathers have long felt powerless and on the outside when parenting their children. Greer and Rocio's work lays down a nurturing pathway that new dads can follow and feel safe, less insecure about fatherhood and manhood, and more confident when relating to their partner and child. The Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner Program is a way out of the jungle of parenting misinformation and Neanderthal parenting concepts. I highly recommend this nurturing parenting approach. May all couples considering conceiving a child soon, investigate this program and read The Nurture Revolution. You will be profoundly happy that you chose nurturing parenting.

When I became a mom, I realized there was so much I didn’t understand about infants. As an educator and committed lifelong learner I was determined to educate myself so I could provide the best care for my son. When I first read The Nurture Revolution, my mind was literally blown. I felt so passionate about spreading Dr. Greer’s research and information with everyone in my life. I joined this certification program so that I could confidently and professionally educate caregivers about the benefits of extravagant nurture and care on their little one’s stress system, mental and physical health. There is a lot of mental illness and addiction in my immediate family i.e. depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. I have gained such a deep understanding of the inter generational effects of low nurture, reactive stress systems and insecure/avoidant attachment styles within my own family system. I feel blessed to have the tools to break these generational curses for my children and to heal my ancestors from the trauma they’ve encountered due to a lack of education and resources. It only takes one person and I hope to inspire many parents to be that ‘one’. Providing nurture is preventative medicine and our future generations depend on this. This course has given me the courage and tools to speak with confidence and passion when informing others on the benefits of nurtured parenting. The Nurture Revolution practitioner program is based on developmental research and with my new knowledge, I feel I can share this information in a calm and matter of fact way. When working with caregivers and children, I now have the ability to look at a child or parent with a deeper, more holistic lens. For example, if a child is experiencing frequent night wakes, we can discuss a wide variety of factors that could be influencing their wakes. Such as airway issues, separation anxiety, nutrition, circadian rhythm, etc. I feel prepared and confident to make referrals to other professionals who could better support these possible influencing factors. If you are considering joining this course, you will not regret it! Greer and Rocio have been the most informative, supportive and kind instructors. I feel so prepared to start my business because of the rich learning experiences they have provided. You will also gain the support from your classmates who bring their own experiences and knowledges to support one another.

I am a parent and educator who has always leaned on intuition to provide nurturing care for the children in my care. Presence, empathy and skillful communication are the foundations for a secured relationship. Prior to taking this course, I did not have the scientific backing to articulate my practice. Nurture Revolution course is a beautiful blend of science and spirituality from ancient wisdom traditions. It has given me scientific research and data to support my practice. To me, this course is like the giving tree, it keeps on giving. I really appreciate the retreats, the online supportive community of learners and practitioners. I am super excited to share all this with my daughter who is going to be a mom soon! Thank you, Greer and Rocio

When I discovered The Nurture Revolution, and Dr. Kirshenbaum, through her book of the same title being featured on Sophie Brock's brilliant podcast, "The Good Enough Mother," immediately, we clicked. I recognized instantly that this woman speaks my language. I read the book, and was profoundly rewarded by the constant validation and reassurance I found in it, confirming scientifically that my attachment parenting instincts and natural choices in motherhood were aligned with optimal biological development, for both babies and parents. I then went on to connect with Greer in person, and interview her for my documentary film, "Liminal Space," exploring the exceptional Neuroplasticity of parenthood, and female sex specific differences in Neuroscience and Neurotrauma. Dr. Kirshenbaum is THE FIRST neuroscientist I've met who could answer my complex and rather unusual question as a TBI & coma survivor: How did my pregnancy heal my brain? As Greer's work expanded to include a certification for Nurtured Parenting training, I enrolled eagerly, to help inform and encourage sharing the valuable knowledge that I've gained from her, in my local community where it is so desperately needed to close the gaps left by the "nurture deficit," as she calls it. I've joined The Nurture Revolution, proudly, as an advocate for infant development rights, and Neurotrauma survivors rights, which interestingly, converge with a similar basic need: Nurture. This course has set my life's trajectory for the foreseeable future, and Dr. Rocio Zunini, Greer's partner in leading the course, is another diamond in the rough, as a female neuroscientist who has begun an overdue revolution in the focus of the field to include her expertise, in parental brain changes. Her work is directly primed to answer my burning question as a coma survivor, about how my pregnancy healed my brain, because as she put it, I'm a "living testimony" to her work. As a Woman in Film, myself, we're all working together, and we are legion, in this female empowerment movement where we'll all benefit tremendously from gender parity, especially our precious, innocent and perfect babies. Women are the Future. Lead with Love.

I enjoyed every moment of every class with Greer and Rocio and I learned so so many life changing and transformative teachings. Although I have been blessed with 13 children, and have always been a devoted Mom there were many things I learned that changed the way I parent my current baby and my inner baby. The myths that Greer busted in her book are really things that have become accepted as "facts" in Western culture. Sleep train the baby so you can have a schedule, if the baby is crying when you hold him, just put him down, holding a baby for sleep is a waste of time etc. etc. My enthusiasm for all the fabulous and oh so relevant lessons bubbled over and I shared them with so many other moms and they treasured them. This is a course that enables you to transform your motherhood from a stressor to an oxcytocin cascade. Who would want to miss this opportunity. Greer and Rocio, have this beautiful mix of being super professional and at the same time super personable. I felt connected to the nurtured community and feel like this is literally the revolution that will bring healing to the earth. If we are kind and nurturing to our babies and our selves the world will be a much more peaceful and happy place. Greer and Rocio, you will never know the full impact of your work because the ripple effects are endless. Your passion is burning and your mission is sacred. Keep up your work, your efforts will certainly bear much sweet fruit.

My primary motivation for joining the Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner Certification was to better support parents in navigating the early postpartum period with a deeper understanding of the baby's brain. I was immediately compelled to register as soon as I received the announcement of the program’s launch. I had the pleasure of meeting Greer as a friend and fellow doula during her time in Los Angeles, and I was quickly captivated by her expertise in neuroscience. After reading her book, I recognized how truly revolutionary this approach is, and I knew I wanted to be part of this movement to share this transformative knowledge that will have a lasting, positive impact on families for generations to come. One particular example of how I applied this knowledge in practice occurred during a recent prenatal appointment with a client. They shared their intention to “get their baby used to sleeping on their own,” and I gently suggested that this plan might change once they experienced the deep bonding and caregiving process. This connection can trigger profound changes in the parent’s brain, which may influence their approach to baby care. The certification has greatly enhanced the way I support parents and babies, providing me with the confidence that my suggestions are grounded in well-established, evidence-based science rather than just maternal instinct and intuition. If you're considering joining the next cohort, I wholeheartedly recommend it! The experience will be incredibly rewarding, providing you with deeper knowledge and training that exceeds expectations.
